Paul declares: “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” In these words from the Bible, Luther found the answer to his struggles and his need to be forgiven. He said: “I felt like I had been born again and that the gates of paradise had opened.” They were also words that changed the course of church history, marking the beginning of the Protestant Evangelical Church.
